The third-round pick from the University of Miami was one of the few bright spots for the Browns this season. Johnson proved he can be explosive catching the football out of the backfield and shifty in open space. Johnson ranked second in receptions among all rookies with 61, trailing just Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper. Johnson was a heavily used weapon in the Browns passing attack and showed his natural playmaking ability.
2015 stats:
Johnson rushed 104 times for 379 yards, an averaged of 3.6 yards per carry. His longest run was 39 yards and he did not post a rushing touchdown. He had 61 receptions for 534 yards and two touchdowns.
2016 outlook:
Head coach Hue Jackson will be salivating to get to work with a versatile player like Johnson. Similar to Bengals running back Giovanni Bernard, Jackson will use Johnson in creating ways to get the speedy playmaker the ball in space.
