The NFL Scouting Combine marks the official opening of draft season and there will be plenty of stories to follow for fans of the Cleveland Browns.

The NFL Scouting Combine starts today as more than 300 college players start to make their way to Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

The action goes into full swing on Wednesday when head coach Hue Jackson meets with the media at 11:45 a.m. In addition, the media will have an opportunity to interview running backs, offensive linemen and special teams players.

Thursday will be a big day for Browns fans as executive vice president of football operations Sashi Brown will kick off the day when he meets with the media at 9:30 a.m. – his first appearance before the national media, which should be interesting. Also on tap for the day are media interviews with quarterbacks – including potential Cleveland draft targets Jared Goff, Carson Wentz and Paxton Lynch – along with wide receivers and tight ends.

The on-field workouts start on Friday as the running backs, offensive linemen and special teams players go through the various drills, which include the 40-yard dash, bench press, three-cone drill, and position-specific drills. The media will also have an opportunity to talk with defensive linemen and linebackers.

The TV ratings should be big in Northeast Ohio on Saturday, as the quarterbacks, wide receivers and tight ends are put through their workouts. Goff was the first of the big three to commit to throwing at the combine, with Wentz and Lynch quickly getting on board. The defensive backs will also have their chance to meet with the media.

Sunday brings workouts for defensive linemen – a group that includes Ohio State’s Joey Bosa – and linebackers. The combine comes to a close on Monday when the defensive backs hit the field for their workouts.

The NFL Network will televise the workouts each day starting at 9 a.m., while also streaming them at NFL Combine Live on NFL.com.

In addition to Goff, Wentz and Lynch, other players that Browns fans should keep an eye on include Bosa, Florida State cornerback Jalen Ramsey, Ohio State wide receiver Michael Thomas, Mississippi wide receiver Laquon Treadwell and offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil, Notre Dame’s Jaylon Smith and UCLA’s Myles Jack.
