The Cleveland Browns have an opportunity to select an impact player in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft. Here are five players they should be considering.

The Cleveland Browns began this year’s offseason with the firings of head coach Mike Pettine and general Ray Farmer and, once again, a new regime was put in place. This regime has stated a simple plan to rebuild an organization that has struggled to find success since its return in 1999.

Build through the draft.

The Browns have been trying to build through the draft ever since their first pick in 1999, when they selected quarterback Tim Couch from the University of Kentucky. Believe it or not, they have drafted a couple of good players, such as Mitchell Schwartz and Alex Mack, and even found a diamond in the rough in former undrafted free agent Tashaun Gipson. But for the most part the drafting has been horrific, as Trent Richardson, Johnny Manziel, Justin Gilbert and Brandon Weeden headline a list of Browns draft picks who have turned out to be terrible.

Cleveland holds the second pick in the first round (No. 2 overall) and the first pick of the second round (No. 32 overall) in the 2016 NFL Draft, making it the third consecutive year, and the fourth time in five years, that the Browns have two of the first 32 selections in the draft.

Much of the focus has been on the Browns selecting a quarterback at No. 2, leaving the second-round pick to fly a bit under the radar. With Browns fans wondering what the Browns will do at 32, let’s take a look at five potential targets for the pick at No. 32.
