Latest Josh Gordon news does not change draft plans

"There are several ways that the Cleveland Browns can view the news that wide receiver Josh Gordon reportedly failed another drug test. Disappointed that Gordon may have dropped his last chance to return to the team. Depressed that they will not see a player who, for a brief moment, was one of the best to play the position in franchise history back on the field. Saddened that Gordon continues to be plagued by his demons."

Cleveland Browns draft profile: Myles Jack

"The Cleveland Browns have had issues seemingly since they took the field as a reborn franchise in September of 1999. No matter what area you look at, the Browns have consistently come up lacking. Pass defense? Not really. Rushing the passer? Outside of an occasional season here and there, not a concern for opposing quarterbacks. Stopping the run?"

Cleveland Browns draft profile: Kenny Clark

"After a lackluster rookie season from Danny Shelton and the loss of starting inside linebackers Craig Robertson (free agency) and Karlos Dansby (released), the front seven will likely be an area addressed by the Cleveland Browns early in the draft. While both sides of the ball are going to need a lot of attention – and with the Browns having 10 picks in this year’s draft – there will be plenty of opportunities for the team to address the multiple glaring needs they have."

"A week after the Tennessee Titans said trade “interest has increased” for the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, Cleveland has entered the exploratory stages of dealing its No. 2 pick. Citing an NFL team executive as a source, NFL Media analyst Lance Zierlein says the Browns are not enamored with a single player who would be available with their top selection and would be willing to part with it in order to collect more draft picks."

"It was a tragic incident the rocked both the NFL and the sports world in New Orleans.
