The 2016 NFL schedule is out and the Cleveland Browns have several games that stand out amongst the rest.

The 2016 NFL schedule was released earlier this week and the Cleveland Browns were given the usual draw. The team only has one game outside the 1:00 P.M. slot, which comes on the token Thursday night game in the second half of the season.

This should come as a surprise to no one given the team’s performance over the past two decades. Teams who play in primetime often have earned that right, while the Browns have done everything to prevent the NFL from giving a precious primetime slot to the team.

The sole primetime game comes against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 10 in Baltimore. By the time this game rolls around the season may already be lost, or the Browns may be the surprise of the NFL. One can dream.

With the release of the schedule there are certain games that stand out, at least on paper, for several reasons. Whether it be a matchup against a certain team or the opening game, where a team sets the tone for the season, there are games that jump off the page as more important than the rest.
