The Cleveland Browns hold the No. 8 overall pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. Here are 5 scenarios for how that pick could play out.

Following last week’s blockbuster trade with the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cleveland Browns now own the eighth overall selection in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, which kicks off Thursday night in Chicago.

By trading down six slots, the Browns picked up additional picks – most notably Philadelphia’s first-round pick in 2017 – but also eliminated themselves from having the opportunity to select one of the top two quarterbacks in this year’s draft, as it is expected that Cal’s Jared Goff and North Dakota State’s Carson Wentz will be the top two picks in the draft, respectively.

While Florida State defensive back Jalen Ramsey has been linked to the Browns, he will most likely be selected before Cleveland goes on the clock at No. 8, so here are five scenarios for what the Browns can do in the first round come Thursday night.
