Head Coach Hue Jackson has given the Cleveland Browns a positive outlook heading into the season.

The Cleveland Browns have had far too many head coaches grace the sidelines since the team returned in 1999. But for once, there is someone at the helm who appears to be able to make this team successful once again.

Hue Jackson was hired earlier this year and has been raved about by the players and media alike. His positive attitude is needed, as there has been too much negativity surrounding this team for too long.

An article on clevelandbrowns.com, which includes a video interview, gives Paul Kruger’s thoughts on how Jackson has changed the attitude in Berea.

"Kruger, who is expected to play a key role in shoring up a Browns defense that struggled last year, said “there’s no comparison” when it comes to the good vibes Jackson and Co. have ushered into the building lately. “His energy level, his enthusiasm, his positivity,” Kruger said on Cleveland Browns Daily, “it’s just something that lights you on fire every time you walk in the building. “And it doesn’t matter what you feel like before you get here, you’re going to have a good day. And it’s because he just radiates that and it’s just very — it just rubs off on everybody. And I appreciate that about him.”"

Bringing this type of attitude into town is crucial for a team coming off a 3-13 season that will feature a fresh batch of rookies to try to help turn things around.

The rookies could have easily showed up and been met with negative vibes from a coaching staff who was not all in on motivating the team from day one, but that is not the case this year.

But while this positive attitude is a great start, it does not mean the Browns are magically going to go from a 3-13 record last year to a playoff berth this year.

What it does mean is that the team is on the right track for the future, no matter how 2016 goes.

It is easy for a team to be demoralized after a few early losses, but it is clear that Jackson will not let this team go into any week with anything other than a positive attitude. Having a coach and coaching staff be positive every single day will do wonders for this young, rebuilding team.

The amount of rookies expected to make the roster makes it clear that this team is a few years away from a winning season, but this new attitude makes it look like Jackson will be the coach when the winning season comes around, avoiding the fate of the short-tenured coaches of the past.
