Daily Dawg Tags: What should Cleveland Browns fans do?
By Thomas Moore
Spanning the virtual globe to bring you the latest news about the Cleveland Browns and the NFL – these are your Daily Dawg Tags for Tuesday, July 19.
Think before you post.
It is a simple rule for anyone who is on social media, but one that athletes (and fans) often forget when they go on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
It is also part of why Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell continues to deal with the fallout from his controversial Instagram post from last week.
That fallout also raises the question, in part, of why fans will heavily criticize one player while giving a pass to another player who may have done something similar – or even worse.
That is just one of the topics we will look at in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.

Isaiah Crowell attends funeral of a slain Dallas police officer (cleveland.com)
"Cleveland Browns running back Isaiah Crowell accepted an invitation from the president of the Dallas Fallen Officer Foundation Saturday to attended the funeral of Patrick Zamarripa, one of the five slain Dallas police officers. Crowell had pledged to donate his first game check — about $35,000 — to the Foundation, but Sergeant Demetrick Pennie of the Dallas Police Department and president of the foundation, wanted something more valuable instead: a chance to educate Crowell on “the meaning of police service and sacrifice.”"
Making the leap: Duke Johnson (NFL.com)
"When Hue Jackson took over in January as Cleveland’s head coach, his immediate challenge was clear: transforming the fortunes of a talent-poor offense that has floated through the league without an identity since 1999. Sporting one of the NFL’s most unproven gaggles of skill players, the Browns are hardly fodder for Making the Leap – right? Wrong, because of what we already know about Jackson and his ability to flip the switch on young running backs like Duke Johnson."
