The Cleveland Browns will be without several big names tonight against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Cleveland Browns return to FirstEnergy Stadium tonight to take on the Atlanta Falcons in some preseason action.

The game will give fans a chance to see some of the players who will suit up during the regular season, but there are many players who will be sitting out tonight, according to clevelandbrowns.com.

Those players are:

QB Austin Davis

DB Trey Caldwell

DB Joe Haden

WR Corey Coleman

WR Josh Gordon

WR Andrew Hawkins

WR Ricardo Louis

WR Dennis Parks

DL John Hughes III

DL Nile Lawrence-Stample

OL Joe Thomas

RB Glenn Winston

The big names on that list are Haden, Gordon and Coleman, but five receivers being on that list is not a great sign, and a potential concern heading into the season.

Some of these players, such as Gordon and Coleman, are being held out as a precaution, but the season-ending injury to Rannell Hall and the fact Gordon is out for the first four games of the season means there is a great opportunity for some young receivers to make the team.

Both Jordan Payton and Rashard Higgins will have a chance to shine tonight, while Terrelle Pryor will continue to prove why he should be a starting receiver this year.

The many players trying to make the final roster will lead to some great action on the field tonight. We here at Dawg Pound Daily will be talking about the game throughout its entirety and we invite you to join us.
