The Cleveland Browns are playing their final game of the 2016 preseason tonight against the visiting Chicago Bears.

The Cleveland Browns are finally nearing the end of the preseason. Games that actually matter are only ten days away, but the Browns still need to play tonight’s game against the Chicago Bears before the attention can be set on the regular season.

The game is expected to feature Browns starters on both sides of the ball, which may or may not be a good thing. It is nice for the brave fans who trek downtown for the preseason finale, but the risk of injury to a key member of the roster is a possibility when allowing them to play against the other teams’ backups who are hungry for a roster spot.

This means the injury-prone Robert Griffin III will see some time on the field tonight, just ten days before the season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. Covering one’s eyes is recommended every time he drops back to pass tonight.

Once the starters exit the game, the backups will enter. Fans should keep an uncovered eye on this part of the game, as many players on the backend of the 53-man roster will be fighting to impress the coaching staff. This will also be the less stressful, more relaxing part of the game to watch, given Cody Kessler doesn’t run out the back of the end zone.

While we watch, we must discuss! Or so it goes.

Start the conversation at any point throughout the game by leaving a comment on this post. Hopefully, the comments will be focusing on the performance of the team rather than a potential nightmare scenario involving an injury and the subsequent ousting of Hue Jackson.

Browns fans are always prepared for the worst, but let’s hope for the best as the Browns finish up the final warmup before the regular season.
