Spanning the virtual globe to bring you the latest news about the Cleveland Browns and the NFL – these are your Daily Dawg Tags for Monday, Sept. 5.

Today is not just Labor Day, as it also marks the final Monday before the beginning of the 2016 NFL season.

The Cleveland Browns open up the season this Sunday in Philadelphia, and could potentially be going up against Carson Wentz, given he is healthy enough to play.

The Browns passed on taking Wentz in this year’s draft, instead trading out of the No. 2 overall pick to acquire more picks. 14 players were taken by the Browns, and 13 have made the 53-man roster. Trey Caldwell was cut Sunday.

The final roster is set and we are in the midst of a game week, so let’s take a look at the news surrounding the Browns and the rest of the NFL in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
