The Cleveland Browns are underdogs in the Week 2 matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, and a Madden 17 simulation has the Browns losing in blowout fashion.

The Cleveland Browns are preparing for Week 2 with Josh McCown as the starting quarterback one week after Robert Griffin III entered the season as the starter. The quarterback cycle continues and so does the season, as the Browns are set to take on the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday at FirstEnergy Stadium.

It is nearly impossible to confidently select the Browns to win this game, even with the points given in the spread. This mindset seems to be inherent in the computer mind of Madden 17, according to the Week 2 simulations done by the folks over at App Trigger.

The video game has no faith in the Browns, predicting a 40-17 finish in favor of the Ravens.

"The Baltimore Ravens knocked the Browns around on all facets of play in this one. Double the first downs, more than double the rushing yards, taking the lead in passing yards; the Ravens were determined to score in all but a few of their drives, making for a one-sided affair. Josh McCown did not look confident in his first start of the year, throwing for just 182 yards and a touchdown on two picks."

The post goes on to explain how Terrance West scored two touchdowns in the game, which should make Ray Farmer smile a small smile wherever he may be.

It is hard to disagree with this prediction, although 40 points for the Ravens may be a bit much after only putting up 13 points in Week 1 against the Buffalo Bills. But anything is possible against a Browns defense that is filled with players born after 1990.

It is hard for fans to focus on the rebuilding process and ignore the results on the field, especially after so many losing seasons, but it is the best option right now. Hue Jackson and the new front office seem to have a legitimate plan in place, and it is not something that will come to fruition in a matter of weeks.

Next: Are Browns better with RG3 on the sidelines

Expect the Browns to be better in this game with McCown as the quarterback, but the video game may be right about this matchup.
