Daily Dawg Tags: A free agent quarterback could be the next starter
The Cleveland Browns are still in search of a starting quarterback, and one could potentially be found on the free agent market.
So, who do you want to start at quarterback for the Cleveland Browns in 2017?
The Browns have several options when it comes to finding a new starter. The team can stick with one of the players on the roster, draft one, make a trade, or even sign a free agent.
The free agent option may be the best for 2017, as the team could get an experienced player to come in and hold down the position while the rest of the team is built up all over the field. Investing too much in a quarterback at this point just isn’t the best of moves.
Tyrod Taylor is an option for the Browns, given he hits the open market by being released by the Buffalo Bills. He is not a star, but he does have two years of starting experience. This is much more than what Jimmy Garoppolo has, although the current New England Patriot may still be considered a top favorite for the Browns to acquire.
Let’s take a look at this news and more in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
