The Cleveland Browns have been giving Josh Gordon a chance to make his return for years, although some fans may forget all the ups and downs of the process.

Josh Gordon is a hot topic among Cleveland Browns fans, even though he hasn’t played in a regular season game since 2014.

His name pops up around this time of year every year due to the status of his perpetual suspension, which can be ended with reinstatement.

Fans were overjoyed when he was reinstated a year ago, but the pessimists among the group thought it was too good to be true. And they were right.

Gordon is once again in a position to be reinstated and help this team, but it is hard to get too excited about that possibility. Browns fans are all rooting for him, but we also know the team is preparing to begin yet another season without the star receiver.

And even if he does return, the front office may decide to offer him up in a trade, although it may be beneficial to play him and see what he can do.

It is all a matter of hypotheticals when it comes to Gordon, but that doesn’t mean his name won’t continue to come up throughout the next several months. Let’s take a look at this and more in a Friday edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
