The 2017 NFL Draft is still two weeks away, which means we have two more weeks of silliness surrounding the Cleveland Browns.

Two weeks from tonight, the Cleveland Browns will kick off the 2017 NFL Draft in Philadelphia.

Which means that we only have two more weeks of silliness to endure.

It has been quite a week for the Browns and draft rumors, and Wednesday was no different.

The latest has the Browns bickering over whether or not to select Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett or North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky with the top selection.

The problem is no one seems to know which side is arguing for which player.

Some believe that head coach Hue Jackson wants Trubisky, but that mean Sashi Brown is going to force Jackson to accept Garrett.

Others are saying the Jackson wants nothing to do with any of the quarterbacks and covets Garrett, but the front office has its heart set on drafting Trubisky.

It’s all fun and games, but also a bit exhausting.

The good news is we only have two more weeks of noise before everything is revealed on draft night.

Could the Jets dial up the Browns for their quarterback? (ESPN)

"Are the Browns trying to induce a quarterback-needy team — paging the New York Jets — into trading up? Maybe, maybe not. The Browns are desperate for a franchise quarterback, same as the Jets, so it’s possible their interest in Trubisky is real. They’re also the Browns, so there’s always the chance they don’t know what they’re doing."

Browns passing on Myles Garrett would be a “huge mistake” (cleveland.com)

"NFL Network analyst Daniel Jeremiah knows how he would react if the Browns decided against picking Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett No. 1 overall and chose a quarterback instead. “I’d have to pick myself up off the floor, first of all,” he said during a conference call with reporters on Wednesday."
