The 2017 Cleveland Browns schedule has been released, featuring the date and time for the London game and the usual slew of afternoon games.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are struggling tonight which means it is time to get excited about the release of the Cleveland Browns’ 2017 schedule.

The dates and times are set, with Week 8 and Week 13 being the only games not played at 1:00 p.m. ET. The Week 8 game against the Minnesota Vikings starts at 9:30 a.m. ET thanks to it being in London, while Week 13’s game starts at 4:05 p.m. ET in Los Angeles.

It is no surprise that the Browns don’t have any primetime games, as it is a tough sell to put a team that just went 1-15 in primetime. However, a great draft next week may lead to the Browns getting some primetime games in 2018.

The fun part about the schedule release is going through and trying to predict the record, but that is a futile endeavor for Browns fans. The best thing to do is just to glance it over and get ready for the draft.

The highlight of the schedule is that London game against the Vikings, although it does start a tad early for those who like to go wild for Ohio State games on Saturday. It may be a nuisance and may also frustrate fans who will now only see seven regular season games in Cleveland this year, but it is good for the Browns brand.

Also, it is not like home games late in the season draw large crowds.

The quick distraction from the draft has now passed, and fans will spend the next week continuing to follow all the rumors that come out about the team’s draft plans. The draft is always a holiday for Browns fans, while the schedule release is not as exciting for Browns fans as it may be for fans of teams who play five or six night games.

But Browns fans like to have fun, so the record predictions will be flowing over the next few days. Add in some talent next week and the optimism will reach its usual April highs.
