The Cleveland Browns have several routes they can take in the draft and Sashi Brown made sure to keep his plans secret when speaking to the media Wednesday.

It is officially one week until the NFL Draft, meaning Cleveland Browns fans are nearly done with all the rumors about who the Browns may take, or what crazy trades the team may pull off next Thursday.

Sashi Brown celebrated the occasion by meeting with the media Wednesday, alongside Andrew Berry.

The two answered questions from the media, but didn’t reveal much about the team’s draft plans. Not that anyone thought they would.

One interesting piece of information fans learned was when Brown was asked if the team would trade for a veteran quarterback.

The key word there is veteran, as that doesn’t count out someone like Jimmy Garoppolo. Phrasing is important.

Brown also shared that the Browns won’t make the stress easy on fans who are worried about the team passing on Myles Garrett, as he won’t be announcing the pick early.

This makes sense, as a team may offer the Browns a major return for the pick in a trade, so it is smart to keep all options open.

Press conferences like the one held yesterday don’t often provide many answers, but it is nice that this front office is visible after times in the past when a press conference with a front office member was a rare thing.

The visibility is nice, but all fans will care about is landing some talent in this year’s draft. Let’s take a look at this and other news surrounding the Browns in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
