The Cleveland Browns might be looking to make a move on draft night to acquire a quarterback in the first round.
The 2017 NFL Draft is now just two days away and the speculation surrounding the Cleveland Browns continues.
While it still seems unfathomable that the Browns would not use the No. 1 overall selection on Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett, the need for a quarterback still weighs heavily on the franchise.
The Browns should resist the urge to take a quarterback at the top spot, but they may be ready to make a move to grab one quickly after that top pick, according to NFL.com’s Michael Silver:
And who might the Browns be interested in?
Stay tuned as the draft finally kicks off Thursday night at 8 p.m. No matter what the Browns do, you will not want to miss it.
Cleveland Browns news:
It’s no secret that the Cleveland Browns need to upgrade their secondary, especially the safety spots. Budda Baker is a safety who has the versatility that would fill a crucial need in this NFL Draft.

As the 2017 NFL Draft is less than a week away we look at a player who could help the cornerback position for the Cleveland Browns.
"Every year in the draft, there are several teams that hold the cards to play a leading role in determining how things play out. There’s a domino effect based on what those teams do or don’t do. Sometimes it has to do with the number of picks a team possesses, and other times it has to do with where a team is positioned in the draft. Here are five teams that hold the keys to the 2017 NFL Draft."
"The opinion has been espoused both inside and outside the Cleveland Browns’ organization that the upcoming NFL draft is a franchise-changing event, a monumental moment in the team’s history. But which also sounds like the time Jimmy Haslam said the 2014 draft was arguably the most important in team history. How’d that first round double dip of Justin Gilbert and Johnny Manziel work out?"
"The draft night free-fall happens for someone every year, and it’s always riveting television when it’s a quarterback who is sweating it out in the draft room. And it’s DeShone Kizer, the former Notre Dame QB, who might want to pack a pair of suits when he heads to Philadelphia, just in case he’s stuck waiting in the green room after 32 players are picked Thursday night."
"Michigan defensive back Jabrill Peppers was one of the toughest draft prospects to figure out, and that was before Monday’s news that he tested positive at the NFL scouting combine. ESPN’s Adam Schefter said Peppers tested positive for a diluted sample at the combine."
"The New Orleans Saints might still find their No. 2 running back before the NFL draft begins Thursday. Adrian Peterson, who visited the team facility two weeks ago, is nearing a deal with the Saints, two league sources told Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com | The Times-Picayune."
