The NFL Draft is over and Cleveland Browns fans now have a new quarterback to consider as a possible starter during the upcoming season.

What a wild weekend.

The Cleveland Browns made some noise during the 2017 NFL Draft, but the move that has seemingly drawn the most discussion is the decision to draft DeShone Kizer.

There are those who don’t think he is qualified to be an NFL starter and others who think he must be given a chance. Regardless of what side of the debate one sides with, this is sure to lead to lively discussion up until Hue Jackson names a starter for the season.

Cody Kessler and Brock Osweiler figure to factor into the starting debate as well, no offense to Kevin Hogan, but that is if Osweiler doesn’t get cut between now and training camp.

Even if Osweiler remains on the roster, Kizer won’t have to be all that impressive in camp to win the job. The thing keeping him on the sidelines would be Hue and the front office wanting Kizer to learn the NFL game before starting right away.

That is what happened to Kessler, but sometimes circumstances don’t allow for a plan to be executed. So the move may be to let Kessler start, and hope the plan is allowed to develop in 2017.

The debates have already started, so let’s look at that and more in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
