Cleveland Browns fans are hoping the hype surrounding the young players on the team ends up translating in success on the field.

Cleveland Browns fans have been relying on hope since 1964, and will continue to do so in 2017.

The front office is pushing the narrative that the rebuild currently in place will lead to long-term success, and all we can do as fans is buy in and hope for the best. At least right now in the early stages.

The hope may have been seen as foolish last season, but a strong 2017 draft class gives the Browns the potential to be a great team. But potential is the key word.

Potentially successful teams of the past have been undone by a variety of factors, including some mismanagement from both coaches and the front office. But this group in place now at least seems to have a concrete plan in place, and one that involves giving Hue Jackson some legitimate talent to work with.

Fans will obviously not know the success of the 2017 draft class until after a few years, but the potential from the class at least has fans excited. And after so much losing and misfortune, there is nothing wrong with getting excited and filled with hope.

We take a look at that and more in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
