The Cleveland Browns are in the midst of a slow month, leading to some more quarterback talk on the latest episode of the DPD Podcast.

The Cleveland Browns are currently in the midst of a three-day minicamp, which means training camp is just a month away. What fun.

As is common in these parts, there is another quarterback competition brewing in 2017 with some interesting contestants.

We discussed that and more in the latest episode of the Dawg Pound Daily Podcast.

The news cycle surrounding the Browns isn’t too lively this team of year, but it is never too early to anticipate how the competition will play out. Some are firmly on the Cody Kessler train while others think DeShone Kizer deserves the job if he wins it in camp. Perhaps there are even some Brock Osweiler fans out there.

The episode embedded above features talk about the quarterbacks along with the receivers being thrown to in 2017. Without Terrelle Pryor, it is up to Corey Coleman to stay healthy and lead this group if the offense is going to have any success this year.

There is also the possibility that one of the other second-year receivers step up, but that would be a surprising development after what transpired a year ago.

But Browns fans are an optimistic bunch, which also describes the tone of the DPD Podcast.
