The Cleveland Browns signed David Njoku to a contract Thursday, leaving Jabrill Peppers as the only 2017 draft pick who has yet to sign a deal.

The Cleveland Browns front office has been hard at work since the conclusion of the NFL Draft, signing nine of the ten picks.

David Njoku was the latest to sign, leaving Jabrill Peppers as the only remaining player in need of a contract. Fans may be worried, but there is plenty of time before training camp to work out a deal. Also, the fact he was the No. 25 overall pick means what he’s owed is rather set, so it shouldn’t be much longer before a deal is worked out.

The Browns rarely have holdouts, with the process in general becoming rare since caps were placed on rookie deals. Gone are the days of a top pick holding out for a deal that earns more than an established NFL star.

The signing of Njoku continues a process that must be wrapped up by the end of next month, and the Browns have been diligent in getting these deals done. Let’s take a look at that and more in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
