The Cleveland Browns open the 2017 preseason tonight as they host the New Orleans Saints. Here is how to watch or listen to the game.

The Cleveland Browns will finally take on a team that is not wearing orange helmets as they host the New Orleans Saints tonight in the first preseason game of 2017 for both teams.

The evening will give Browns fans their first chance to see No. 1 overall selection Myles Garrett chasing an opposing quarterback, witness the rebuilt offensive line in action and, in a minor matter (kidding!) see the ongoing quarterback battle, with Brock Osweiler taking over as the starting quarterback.

With Osweiler likely only playing a series or two, there will be ample opportunities for rookie DeShone Kizer and second-year veteran Cody Kessler to make their case, head coach Hue Jackson told clevelandbrowns.com:

"“If I stuck one of those other guys out as a starter, they weren’t going to play a lot of football because they probably would come out when the other veterans come out. When you sit down and think through it all, and you think what is best for our football team, it is best for me to trot Brock out there, see if he can go lead this offense and lead the team, and in the process, keep getting these young guys more reps of playing football. They just need to play.”"

It may only be the first of four preseason games, but expect plenty of conclusions to be drawn following the contest, many of which will be redrawn in the weeks to come.

The best part? The start of the preseason signals that we are just that much closer to the start of the regular season.
