The Cleveland Browns have a lot to figure out over the remainder of the season after falling to 0-4 with a loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.
Cleveland Browns fans are experiencing a wide range of emotions after Sunday’s loss.
There are those who are fed up with this team and didn’t expect a positive result in 2017, while others are still optimistic and angry at the doubters.
I’m in the middle. I didn’t expect much from this team, but I held out some hope that they would at least pick up a few wins to start the year. And along with that, I see sports as a way to escape the negativity of the world. I usually don’t like sports to bring me down, but that is difficult with this team.
Right now, the Browns are clearly the worst team in the NFL. That is just a fact. The hope is that the loss to the Bengals is indeed rock bottom and the team can turn things around next Sunday against Josh McCown and the New York Jets.
But the Jets are 2-2 and riding the high of two straight victories, so even this game fails to qualify as a clear potential win for the Browns.
There is nothing wrong with being upset about this start. Even irrational anger is warranted after such a start.
All we can do is hope for a better result next week, and perhaps just enjoy some Indians baseball until then.
