Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam has a Tennessee connection to Peyton Manning, which has fueled some rumors of Manning taking over this front office.

Cleveland Browns fans were promised stability at the beginning of 2016, but that promise may be fading after another 0-6 start.

The latest winless start has started the rumblings of potential changes for this current regime, with the front office seemingly the first to face changes first.

There hasn’t been anything to suggest a change will indeed be made soon, but the rumors are out there. Peyton Manning’s name has been attached to these rumors, if only for his connection to Jimmy Haslam.

The Browns have a bye week in two weeks, which could lead some to predict a change could be made after that. An in-season change would be shocking given Haslam’s promise not to fire anyone in 2017, but since this is the Browns it wouldn’t be the craziest thing to happen with this franchise.

Hiring Manning to run the front office would be an odd choice considering he has no experience in such a role, but the same can be said for the decision to hire Sashi Brown. We take a look at this and more in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags.
