The Cleveland Browns dropped to 0-9 in 2017 after Sunday’s loss in Detroit, and now stand alone as the team with the worst record in the NFL.

The Cleveland Browns went to Detroit and seemed poised to shock the Lions after a fast start. I hope no one got too excited.

A fumble, a horrible quarterback sneak, an injury, bad defense and a host of other factors contributed to the ultimate result, which saw the Browns fall to 0-9 in 2017.

The latest loss sets the Browns apart in the basement of the NFL, as the San Francisco 49ers picked up a win on Sunday, which was the team’s first of the season.

So there you have it, ladies and gentleman of Browns fandom. In year two of the latest regime, the Browns are once again poised for the top pick in the NFL Draft, and are a combined 1-24 since the start of 2016.

The plan was always supposed to take a couple of years, but I will be shocked if Jimmy Haslam doesn’t make any moves if the team finishes 1-15 or 0-16. Winning is what matters and he will have a tough time buying Sashi Brown’s promises if the losses continue to pile up over the final seven weeks of the season.

It is almost statistically hard to go 1-24 as a professional football team, but this is the nightmare we are all watching. The good news is that Sunday’s game in Detroit provided some positives moving forward, even though another loss was the final result.

We take a look at Sunday’s loss and more in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.
