The Cleveland Browns didn’t pick up a victory, but did give us some positives to talk about in the latest episode of the DPD Podcast.

Running a podcast about the Cleveland Browns is not the most lighthearted of endeavors.

Each week brings more negatives to talk about, but the Browns at least showed fans some positive sparks this past Sunday in Detroit.

My co-host Andrew Seibt and myself got to watch the game on a phone while driving back from our official DPD retreat in Alabama, which was discussed in the latest episode of the DPD Podcast.

DeShone Kizer showed fans some actual progression, so hopefully he won’t be pulled from any more games this season in favor of Cody Kessler or Kevin Hogan.

The problem on Sunday, which we talk about, came down to a few key mistakes along with some confusing calls from both Kizer and Hue Jackson.

Be sure to subscribe to the show on iTunes and please leave us a review. Tweet at us @dawgpounddaily, @Andrew_Seibt, and @StevenKubitza to share your thoughts on the show or to suggest a topic we should discuss on a future episode.

And if you want to hear about a truly life-changing trip to the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, be sure to make it through this entire episode. The banter is worth it, I promise.

We will be back later this week to look ahead to Sunday’s game against the 6-3 Jacksonville Jaguars in what should be a brutal game in terms of weather. One would think that means the Browns will pound the run, but I can’t be too sure about that with the way Jackson has been calling plays in 2017.
