The Cleveland Browns haven’t given fans much to be excited about in 2017, but the good news is that Josh Gordon is expected back this Sunday.
Another Sunday, another loss has been the theme for the Cleveland Browns in 2017. The offense played arguably its best game of the season in Cincinnati and still, it was nowhere near enough.
The Browns now sit at 0-11 and are in a similar spot as they were in 2016. One win is all the team needs to avoid infamy, and even that seems like a lot to ask right now.
A small bit of good news is that Josh Gordon is expected to return on Sunday, giving the Browns a legitimate threat at wide receiver. Even if he is rusty, he is still better than any other receiver on the roster.
Gordon’s return not only helps the team’s chances of getting that first win, but it also gives fans a reason to watch this 0-11 football team. Because right now, it is hard to argue with anyone deciding to do some other activities on Sundays in December.
Gordon may not be as great as he once was when he returns, but at least he is providing fans with some hope. Another Ricardo Louis drop may be enough for some fans to give up for good.
We take a look at that and more in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.
