Daily Dawg Tags: Trying to find a win in 2017
The Cleveland Browns have five more chances to pick up a win in 2017, but it is hard to go through the schedule and find where a win is possible.
As the Cleveland Browns keep losing and Hue Jackson has his weekly uninspiring press conferences, it is getting hard to rally around this team.
The players sure want to pick up a win, but being a fan with any sense of optimism is nearly impossible after the first 11 games of the season.
What we all know is that this team needs a win to avoid the saddest season in franchise history. But when looking at the five remaining opponents, there isn’t a game that stands out as a Browns victory.
That will be true for any game when a team is as bad as the Browns, but blowing a few close games earlier this season may be what fans look at if this team ends up at 0-16.
Games against the Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens remain, along with matchups against the Los Angeles Chargers, Green Bay Packers, and Chicago Bears.
The Packers without Aaron Rodgers could be a game in which the Browns surprise us, but that team sure looked better this past Sunday night against the Steelers.
The Bears are probably the worst remaining opponent, but are still way better than the Browns.
We take a look at this and more in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.
