Cleveland Browns fans get to see Josh Gordon return to the field this Sunday, and he will hopefully make a big impact against the Chargers.

Cleveland Browns fans should be excited about the return of Josh Gordon this Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers.

He will be playing in his first regular season game since 2014 and will be a starter, finally giving DeShone Kizer a legitimate number one receiver on the outside.

Some fans are tempering their expectations for Gordon this Sunday, but I see no reason not to get excited. The Browns are 0-11 and it is about time the organization gives fans some intrigue on Sunday. Being angry all the time is no fun.

Things have been so bad that a guy who hasn’t played in three years immediately steps in as a starter upon his return, although to be fair to the likes of Ricardo Louis and Rashard Higgins, Gordon would like return as a starter on most teams.

With the losses piling up since Gordon last played, his return is something that could provide a spark for a team so devoid of talent during the past three seasons. It could also be another letdown, but we can worry about that after Sunday.

We take a look at Gordon’s return and more in today’s edition of the Daily Dawg Tags. Hopefully next week we will be back talking about the first win of the season.
