The Cleveland Browns play their first game in the post-Sashi era today, and will be without a few starters at home against the Green Bay Packers.

The Cleveland Browns are still playing football, in case anyone thought it was draft season already.

The 0-12 Browns are taking on the 6-6 Green Bay Packers in what is a must-win for Packers.

Aaron Rodgers remains out for one more week, but it is still hard to predict a Browns win at any point this season. Is today the day?

This week’s inactive list includes a few starters in Jabrill Peppers, Briean Boddy-Calhoun and Danny Shelton, but an interesting thing from the list is that Cody Kessler is back on it.

Kessler was the backup the past few weeks with Kevin Hogan being inactive, so maybe today signals the end of Kessler’s time in Cleveland. With Kenny Britt being cut earlier this week, no one brought in under Sashi Brown is safe, except for the few star talents on this team.

A main storyline surrounding this game is the fact it’s Josh Gordon‘s first home game in three years, but unfortunately there may be more Packers fans in the stands than Browns fans. Regardless, it is great to see Gordon back at home.

Maybe Hue Jackson will open the playbook today and get that first win, throwing more shade at Sashi Brown. But for a win to happen, DeShone Kizer will have to actually complete some deep passes and Jackson can’t give up on the running game in the first quarter, especially given today’s weather.

Next: Determining what a win means at this point

Be sure to comment on this post throughout today’s game to interact with other Browns fans who are brave enough to spend three hours watching this 0-12 team. A win at this point in the year doesn’t matter too much, but at least it cancels a parade that so many are mad about.
