The Cleveland Browns take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday still in search of their first win of 2017. Here is how to watch or listen to the game.

The Cleveland Browns and Chicago Bears have been members of the NFL since 1950, but oddly enough Sunday’s game will only be the 16th meeting between two of the NFL’s storied franchises.

Despite not seeing each other very often, the Browns and Bears have played some memorable games.

In their very first meeting, on Nov. 25, 1951, Cleveland’s Dub Jones scored six touchdowns – four rushing and two receiving – as the Browns rolled up 516 yards of offense in a 42-21 win.

It was more of the same the next two meetings, as the Browns won 39-10 (in 1954) and 42-0 (in 1960), a game where the Browns returned three interceptions for touchdowns, two by defensive back Bobby Franklin, as Cleveland posted a league-record 213 yards in interception returns.

The Browns posted a pair of Monday night wins against the Bears, the first coming before 83,224 fans at Municipal Stadium in 1980 in a game capped off by a 56-yard touchdown run by Mike Pruitt. Nine years later it was another big play – this time a 97-yard touchdown reception by Webster Slaughter – that led the Browns past the Bears.

The most unforgettable game in the series took place on Nov. 4, 2001, as the Bears scored two touchdowns in the game’s final 28 seconds to force overtime, where they won on an interception that defensive back Mike Brown returned for a touchdown.
