Cleveland Browns: 5 Wide receiver free agents targets in 2018
By Randy Gurzi
5. Albert Wilson, Kansas City Chiefs, 25 years old
The first player we examine is Albert Wilson, who has ties to Dorsey as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs. In K.C., Wilson was never a top option, but always provided a spark when the ball would come his way.
He’s coming off a season in which he pulled in a career high in receptions (42), yards (554) and touchdowns (3). Wilson was the first player from Georgia State University to get an NFL Combine invite. He showed off some impressive athleticism, including a 4.43 time in the 40-yard dash, but he still went undrafted in 2014.

In Cleveland, he would be able to offer up a decent option in the slot. His addition would have minimal impact on any plans for Coleman or Gordon should they stay on the field, while also offering a trustworthy player that could step up should they continue to be unreliable on a week-to-week basis.
This isn’t exactly the kind of splashy signing that would put the Browns over the top. Instead, it’s the kind of guy that teams need in order to build a competitive roster. Wilson will do the dirty work, and is also capable of making a splash play from time to time.
