Cleveland Browns: Todd McShay mock lands two playmakers
By Randy Gurzi
NFL draft guru Todd McShay released a 2018 NFL Mock Draft that landed the Cleveland Browns two potentially dominant offensive weapons
The Cleveland Browns have the ammunition to get better, fast. They own 12 picks in the 2018 NFL Draft, and five of them come within the first two rounds.
Heck, two come in the first four picks as the Browns have the No. 1 overall thanks to their 0-16 record and the No. 4 thanks to a trade with the Houston Texans.
That’s made them a hot topic as we slowly inch closer to the 2018 NFL Draft, and a lot of eyes are on not only what they will do, but also what the experts are predicting them to do.

For example, ESPN draft expert Todd McShay released his own first-round mock draft. Browns fans have to be happy with what McShay thinks they will do.
"“Todd McShay’s latest mock draftInsider produced the results most are predicting for the Cleveland Browns.McShay has USC quarterback Sam Darnold going first and Penn State running back Saquon Barkley going fourth. It makes sense and it’s logical, and if forced to predict today what would happen, this is the likely scenario.” — Pat McManamon, ESPN Staff Writer"
USC’s Sam Darnold was the hottest name entering the 2017 season, but injuries on his offensive line hurt his stock according to some. Others just feel he isn’t as good an option as guys like Josh Allen out of Wyoming or Baker Mayfield from Oklahoma. Still, any option would start right away in Cleveland and no one should be upset if they decide Darnold is the guy.
As for Saquon Barkley, the Penn State running back is a game changer. He’s the best back in the draft and can beat teams on the ground and through the air. Rumors are the New York Giants are interested at No. 2, but if he does last until the fourth pick, the Browns need to waste no time turning that card in.

Cleveland can do much worse than the two picks McShay has them at. These two could change the entire outlook of their offensive unit for the better.
