The 2018 NFL Draft is steadily approaching, with one of the most interesting wide receiver classes in recent memory. The receiver group is deep, and these are the five receiver targets that stand out as a fit for the Cleveland Browns.

Outside of quarterback, the Cleveland Browns’ biggest offensive need is the wide receiver. Their two “top-flight” options from 2017 both have some kind of red flag, whether it be physical or more on the mental side of things.

For one, speedster Corey Coleman cannot seem to stay healthy. During his two seasons as a Brown, the Baylor product has broken his right hand twice, and has missed 14 games.

On the other hand, Cleveland’s resident athletic freak, Josh Gordon is still something of a mystery off the field. Another Baylor product, Gordon has battled substance abuse problems for years and has been suspended many times since 2013.

Needless to say, the Browns have an uncertain future with their current wide receivers. They lack a durable “sure thing” wide-out that they can rely on to have solid games week in and week out.

Luckily for the Browns, this year’s draft class is full of receivers who could become prolific threats at the next level. With the draft picks the Browns possess, they can really have their choice of whichever receiver they want.

Now, while all these receivers have questions surrounding them, they are have tremendous potential to be “the guy” in Cleveland for 2018 and far beyond. For the receiver group in this draft class, these are the five that stand out.
