The Cleveland Browns have two solid tight ends already on the roster. While Seth DeValve and David Njoku are both pretty good in their roles, they might want to add some depth in the 2018 NFL Draft.

The Cleveland Browns have made a point of having good tight end receiving options in their schemes. With Princeton’s Seth DeValve in 2016, and Miami’s David Njoku in 2017, Cleveland has two young up and comers in their tight end spots.

Despite rookie tight ends (almost) never lighting up the league,f both Njoku and DeValve made their impression on Browns fans in their first years. DeValve and Njoku posted two touchdowns and four touchdowns respectively, combining for over 500 yards.

DeValve’s receiving talent and Njoku’s freak athleticism have combined to make a great tight end duo that could grow into something really special for years to come. But maybe the Browns want to add even more to their tight end room.

Should they choose to go after another in the NFL Draft this April, they have plenty of options. Although this tight end has no real superstar like last year’s O.J. Howard, there are plenty of steady going mid-round tight ends to help Cleveland out.

There are a plethora of day two and three tight end options for the Browns to explore, but five stand out among the rest. Although they might not be the absolute best in the class, they are the best tight ends suited for Cleveland’s interests, as well as general manager John Dorsey.
