Cleveland Browns: Johnny Manziel wants to comeback, 5 teams that could take him

4. Cincinnati Bengals
Who wants to see Manziel back in Ohio? It’s a safe bet to say no hands went flying up there, but the idea of Johnny Football signing with the Cincinnati Bengals isn’t totally crazy.
This franchise has a long history of giving players second — and sometimes third chances. One such player is cornerback Adam Jones. After multiple arrests, the Tennessee Titans grew weary of the player they drafted at No. 6 overall in 2005 out of West Virginia. After two years out of the league, he was given a second chance by the Dallas Cowboys before wearing out his welcome and had to go the CFL route in 2009.

Jones latched on with the Bengals in 2010, and has been there ever since. Cincinnati also gave another chance at resurrecting a career to running back Cedric Benson and signed Vontaze Burfict as an undrafted free agent out of Arizona State despite character concerns.
Oftentimes it hasn’t panned out too well for the Bengals when giving players another shot, but it doesn’t stop them from trying to find cheap talent they can resurrect.
Now they could give Manziel a look as they stand to lose their backup A.J. McCarron, oddly enough it could be to the Browns. At least they won’t have to worry about locker room issues, because hey, they never have before.
