1. Tyrann Mathieu, FS, Arizona Cardinals

At one point, Tyrann Mathieu looked like one of the best free safeties in the game. A former third-round pick from LSU, Mathieu proved to be a huge ball hawk for the Arizona Cardinals. However, he’s suddenly on the block and could be available to the highest bidder.

Greg Rosenthal of NFL.com explains that the Cards feel like they have other options moving forward.

"“Mathieu was a transformative talent on and off the field, such a cornerstone that Arizona gave him a $62.5 million deal after his second torn ACL. But the Cardinals have since drafted safety Budda Baker, whom Keim called a “budding star” on Wednesday. Mathieu also lost a supporter and mentor in former coach Bruce Arians.” — Rosenthal, NFL.com"

What acquiring Mathieu would do is allow the team to focus somewhere besides safety in the draft. It would also allow them to consider Minkah Fitzpatrick as a corner, should he be available at the fourth-pick.

In five seasons, the “Honey Badger” has 308 tackles, 11 interceptions and 41 pass deflections. That kind of playmaking in the secondary would be huge for the Browns if they could find a way to pull of a trade for him.
