Marcell Frazier, DE, Missouri

Thanks to a solid pair of drafts the last few seasons, edge rusher isn’t a dire, immediate need for Cleveland. Instead, they have the luxury of only needing depth, but not day one starters.

Enter Marcell Frazier. A 4-3 defensive end who got 15.5 sacks and 25 tackles for loss his final two years as a Tiger, pairing him in a rotation of Myles Garrett, Emmanuel Ogbah, Carl Nassib and Nate Orchard would be a fantastic, young core of edge rushers to build for the future.

I doubt he falls farther than the fifth round, but admittedly, he’s not the most athletic defensive end this year. He’s much more of a power rusher who can sub in off the edge for the Browns. But that wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world.

Dominick Sanders, FS, Georgia

Kind of hard to see a prospect who started in the National Championship on here but being overshadowed by Roquan Smith and Lorenzo Carter, it’s understandable.

A fantastic coverage safety, Sanders was a ballhawk for the Bulldogs. 16 interceptions and 23 passes defended in all four years at UGA made this man a player worth keeping our eyes on.

Reports indicated his biggest knock was his tackling ability, even despite his improvement in that area in 2017. Even though I have a third round grade on him, he’s likely headed for the fifth or sixth round.

The team has it’s strong safety in Jabrill Peppers, now he needs a partner. If the Browns don’t like the options where they’re positioned at each pick, Sanders would be a player worth a shot.
