Daily Dawg Tags: Moves starting in the NFL
By Randy Gurzi
Daily Dawg Tags brings you all the news you need to know in order to keep up to date with the Cleveland Browns and the rest of the NFL
The NFL has started to see some moves happening. Big names were being moved as we approach the start of the new season. The Cleveland Browns were quiet, but that’s not a bad thing.
At this point, teams aren’t getting the most valuable players. Instead, they’re getting guys other franchises are trying to get rid of before having to pay out any portions of their deals. So really what happens here is a big name gets moved, and the new franchise takes on a high salary.
Instead, the Browns appear to be playing this the right way. Wait for the news season to kick off, then go and check on the players you’re interested in. If none of them bite, go full force in the NFL Draft and start building a better roster.
Easier said than done of course. The bottom line is this, don’t worry if the Browns are quiet right now. That’s the best approach.
