The big names and high prices of the first-wave of free agency are off the board, but the Cleveland Browns can still find some talent in free agency

Things have gone well so far in the offseason for the Cleveland Browns. It wasn’t enough that they owned the No. 1 and No. 4 picks in the 2018 NFL Draft, but they also had to go out and get themselves involved in all the trade activity that took the NFL by storm just ahead of 2018 NFL Free Agency.

Their moves included landing Jarvis Landry, the wide receiver formerly of the Miami Dolphins, Tyrod Taylor, the Buffalo Bills starting quarterback the past two seasons and Green Bay Packers defensive back Damarious Randall. They did also trade away defensive tackle Danny Shelton and cornerback Jason McCourty, but the moves didn’t stop there.

Cleveland added offensive line depth with Chris Hubbard and Donald Stephenson and defensive line help with edge rusher Chris Smith. Things surely have slowed to a crawl in free agency for the Browns – and the rest of the NFL – but that doesn’t mean everything is done.

There are still some players available past the first wave of free agency, and here we examine five that the Browns could consider.
