The Cleveland Browns walk away with more talent than anyone with their No. 1 and No. 4 selections in this 2018 first-round NFL Mock Draft

No team can walk away with a better outlook for the future than the Cleveland Browns can in the 2018 NFL Draft. While they no longer own 12 picks, they do still have as many premium selections as any team has had in recent memory.

Cleveland starts things out with the No. 1 overall pick and then they just watch two other teams make selections before once again being on the board at No. 4. Drafting two top-five talents on one night seems like it would be enough to fix just about any roster in the league.

As for the Browns, they hope to already be much improved from the team that went 0-16 in 2017. New general manager John Dorsey made several trades which included adding slot receiver Jarvis Landry, quarterback Tyrod Taylor and safety Damarious Randall.

They did lose a third-round pick in those trades as well as 2017 starting quarterback DeShone Kizer and nose tackle Danny Shelton. Even with those losses, the Browns are a better rosterm especially when factoring in the signing of former Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde, their prized free agent signing to this point.

They get even better here — as do many teams — as we predict the way the 2018 NFL Draft will fall.
