Cleveland Browns: Does LeBron want Barkley in town?
By Randy Gurzi
LeBron James brought a championship to his beloved city, is he now wanting Saquon Barkley to help the Cleveland Browns look for their own?
LeBron James is Ohio’s favorite superstar. He not only returned to the Cleveland Cavaliers, but he brought a championship to the hardcore sports town. He now is reaching out to someone who could try and do the same for the Cleveland Browns.
Penn State running back Saquon Barkley has been linked to the Browns since the college football season ended.
The Browns own the No. 1 and No. 4 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, and a playmaker like Barkley could be found at one of those spots.
He and James took some time to meet up with one another following a Cavs game in New York against the Knicks. After the game, the King took a picture with the future NFL star — which Barkley proudly displayed on Twitter.
LeBron also gave out some shoes to Barkley according to Troy L. Smith of Cleveland.com.
"“Barkley, a recent Nike signee, also received a gift from King James. Barkley is the new owner of two pairs of James’ signature shoe, including the popular LeBron 15 Orange Box shoes.” — Smith, Cleveland.com"
James at one point tried to befriend former Browns bust Johnny Manziel, which didn’t work out because Manziel wasn’t good. Could he be doing the same here and hoping to let the Browns know what he thinks they should do?

Probably not. This is most likely a simple case of one star reaching out to another. Still, it’s fun to think of both these guys being a big part of Cleveland’s sports structure.
