Cleveland Browns: Q&A with Toledo QB Logan Woodside
By Randy Gurzi
Ahead of the 2018 NFL Draft, we ask a few questions of Toledo quarterback Logan Woodside, including if he would like to hear his name called by the Cleveland Browns
A lot of the talk in regards to who the Cleveland Browns will take at quarterback is centralized on the No. 1 overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. That’s an understandable stance due to their continued lack of a trusted franchise player at the spot.
However, the addition of Tyrod Taylor this offseason led some to think the team could wait for a pick and find a developmental player. There’s also the camp that would want the Browns to add more than one signal caller.
No matter where you stand on the above debate, looking at a player like Logan Woodside out of Toledo would make a lot of sense. He put up over 10,000 yards passing with 93 touchdowns during his time with the Rockets and is considered a potential hidden gem in the draft.
Woodside recently took the time to speak with us and answer a few questions, including whether or not he would want to play for the Browns.

RG: Was there a certain player you emulated your game after?
"LW: Yeah I always loved watching Brees and Carr and as of late really studying jimmy G!"
RG: Where will you be watching the draft at?
"LW: Back home in Kentucky with my family."
RG: Do you see a certain team where you would be a good fit?
"LW: Whoever takes a chance on me I’ll be excited and ready to work."
RG: How would you feel if the Browns called your name and you stayed in the same state you played college ball?
"LW: That would be a great opportunity!! I grew up watching the Browns."
