The Cleveland Browns and the rest of the NFL learned their schedule on Thursday. That story and more are the focus of the Daily Dawg Tags.

The offseason seems to drag on forever. However, we are slowly getting closer to the 2018 NFL Season and we even know what the Cleveland Browns schedule will be.

That’s because on Thursday the league announced what each team will have on their slate and for the Browns that included starting out with a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

They also have an early Thursday Night contest against the New York Jets, which gives them a bit of a mini0bye, which is of small consolation as they traverse their way through three games between September 9 and September 20.

Arguably the best news about the schedule had to be their late bye week. Cleveland gets a rest in Week 11, which allows them to enter the home stretch with a full tank of gas.

While the start of the season is still so far away, the release was a nice break from the draft talk that’s consumed all our Browns news. That release and more can be found in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.

Jacksonville Jaguars unveil new old-school look — Nick Shook, NFL.com

"The club ended its State of the Franchise event Thursday with an unveiling of new uniforms, which removed gold and returned the emphasis to teal and black, starting with the lids. Gone is the gold half of the helmet, as is the matte finish, returning to a high-gloss, all-black paint job the team wore for its first 19 years of existence. It’s an immediate upgrade."
