The Cleveland Browns add some stability to their roster with their top two selections in this first-round 2018 NFL Mock Draft

No team can change the fate of their franchise as much as the Cleveland Browns can in the 2018 NFL Mock Draft. Owners of the first and fourth-overall selections, Cleveland can add some serious firepower to their roster.

Here we try and predict exactly what they’ll do with those choices as we roll out a first-round mock draft, starting with none other than your Cleveland Browns.

1. Cleveland Browns: Josh Allen, Wyoming, QB

At No. 1 overall, the Browns go all-in on the big-armed Josh Allen. The Wyoming product is a polarizing figure as some are grossly enamored with his incredible arm. Others can’t get past his low completion percentage.

As for the Browns, they like the fact that he’s not going to need to be pressed into action immediately. He’s a project, but has a huge ceiling.

2. New York Giants: Saquon Barkley, Penn State, RB

With Allen off the board the Giants go for running back Saquon Barkley. So much for him being there at No. 4.

3. New York Jets (via New York Jets): Sam Darnold, USC, QB

Many Browns fans wanted Sam Darnold, but this is the best thing to ever happen as they pass on the kid who has been incredibly hyped up. For some reason this happens often with USC quarterbacks and they never live up to it.
