4. Cleveland Browns (via the Houston Texans): Bradley Chubb, NC State, EDGE

After landing Allen and missing out on Barkley, the decision becomes super simple for the Browns at No. 4. Here they take Bradley Chubb out of North Carolina State and pair him with 2017 first-overall pick Myles Garrett. Opposing quarterbacks will be up all night with them on the schedule.

5. Denver Broncos: Josh Rosen, UCLA, QB

For my taste, this is too high for Josh Rosen. The guy has all the talent, but the concussions scare me. Denver takes a shot though.

6. Indianapolis Colts (via New York Jets): Quenton Nelson, Notre Dame, OG

No one will ever call the Colts offensive line soft again. Quenton Nelson is a nasty player with a big mean streak.

7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Denzel Ward, Ohio State, CB

Denzel Ward should be in serious consideration for the Browns at four, but they went with Chubb. The reason is the drop off in talent they can get for a corner in the second-round is greater than the drop off between Chubb and a pass rusher later.

8. Chicago Bears: Minkah Fitzpatrick, Alabama, S

Minkah FItzpatrick also was a consideration for Cleveland at one point. Damarious Randall helped change the need for a free safety though.

9. San Francisco 49ers: Tremaine Edmunds, Virginia Tech, OLB

The Niners add a monstrous playmaker in Tremaine Edmunds.

10. Oakland Raiders: Roquan Smith, Georgia, ILB

Another linebacker follows, this time UGA’s heat-seeking missile Roquan Smith. He may be slightly under-seized, but he sure can play,.

11. Miami Dolphins: Vita Vea, Washington, DT

They cut Ndamukong Suh, but Vita Vea mitigates the loss.

12. Buffalo Bills (via the Kansas City Chiefs): Baker Mayfield, Oklahoma, QB

This pick likely happens earlier as the Bills would probably move up for a quarterback rather than wait at 12. In this mock they luck out because Baker Mayfield is the best in the class, but people are scared of his lack of height. Thus the fall.

13. Washington Redskins: Derwin James, Florida State, S

Derwin James is an athletic freak who could help change the outlook of the Redskins secondary.

14. Green Bay Packers: Harold Landry, Boston College, EDGE

They need an edge rusher to take over after Clay Matthews is done. There may not be a more explosive option than Harold Landry.

15. Arizona Cardinals: Calvin Ridley, Alabama, WR

A great route runner with a selfless attitude. Calvin Ridley will learn from a guy in Larry Fitzgerald who also fits that description.

16. Baltimore Ravens: Lamar Jackson, Louisville, QB

The Ravens decide it’s time to groom Flacco’s replacement. Well, it was time a couple seasons ago, but they can’t travel back in time. Yet.
