Cleveland Browns: Day three NFL Mock Draft
By Randy Gurzi
Round 5 Pick 13: Andrew Brown, DT, Virginia
The Browns are up in Round 5 and this time they finally address the defensive tackle position. They obviously don’t find this spot to be as big a need as I do, or they would have addressed it before going for a flex-offensive lineman in Round 2 or a backup edge player in Round 3.

Having said that, they could do much worse than Andrew Brown from Virginia. The 6-foot-3, 296-pound Brown put up 31 reps in the bench press and plays with a lot of strength. He really came on the past two seasons, and his six sacks in 2016 shows he can get after the quarterback at times from his interior spot.
Round 6 Pick 1: Skai Moore, LB, South Carolina
Next up the Browns add a talented — but injury prone — linebacker in Skai Moore. Listed under 230-pounds, Moore is undersized, but can fly around the field. He didn’t run as fast at the Combine as his tape suggests he can, but that shouldn’t be the concern.
The reason to hesitate on drafting Moore is the neck injury he suffered in 2015 — which required surgery. The problem popped back up, which makes him a risk, but at this point it’s worth it. In four seasons at South Carolina, Moore had 351 tackles and an amazing 14 picks. He’s smart, instinctive and could be a steal if he stays on the field.
