The Cleveland Browns made a couple roster moves on Wednesday as they traded away a tight end for a linebacker, and claimed another

The Cleveland Browns have been making moves all offseason under general manager John Dorsey. After taking over this team’s decision making, Dorsey criticized the players on the roster.

He then responded by sending away every quarterback, one of their huge defensive tackles and a starting corner. The belief is he’s not done yet and on Wednesday, he churned the roster a little more.

First news that broke in that regard was the trade he made with his old team, the Kansas City Chiefs. In that deal, Dorsey and the Browns sent backup tight end Randall Telfer to the Chiefs in exchange for linebacker Dadi Nicolas. The pass rushing Nicolas will likely move to end for the Browns and rejoins the man who drafted him in 2016.

Nicolas played in just 11 games before suffering a knee injury that cost him all of 2017. He will hope to resurrect his career in Cleveland, whereas Telfer hopes to catch on after seeing only minimal time in Cleveland.

Later in the day the Browns claimed linebacker Jermaine Grace off waivers from the Indianapolis Colts. Originally an undrafted free agent for the Atlanta Falcons, Grace played for Atlanta and Indy last season. He enters his second season hoping to catch on with the Browns.

Dorsey likely isn’t done churning the roster as he continues to attempt to put a team together that’s better than the 1-31 record they’ve had over the past two season. So far, it seems like he’s done a decent job, but he isn’t resting on his laurels just yet.
