NaVorro Bowman, MLB

The Cleveland Browns really aren’t weak at all when it comes to the linebacker position. Jamie Collins, Joe Schobert and Christian Kirksey are all solid players. Rookie Genard Avery was added in the draft and he has some immense potential. Don’t be surprised if the Memphis alum ends up taking over a starting spot one day.

As good as they are in this spot, standing pat is never the best idea. The Browns would be smart to keep adding talent and there’s an incredibly talented player sitting on the market now.

NaVorro Bowman was a complete stud for the San Francisco 49ers ever since then drafted him back in 2010. Then they foolishly cut him in 2017 in favor of the walking disaster Reuben Foster. All Bowman did was go across town to join the Oakland Raiders and post 89 tackles, 1.5 sacks and two picks in 10 games.

How Bowman is still available is beyond me. He’ll be 30 befofe the season begins, but he showed no signs whatsoever of slowing down in 2017, despite having to change teams after five games.

Next: Enough of the stolen slogans

For the Browns he could be a complete steal in between Collins and Kirksey, and while Schobert is a solid player, he would be truly pushed from the addition of such a veteran — not to mention the way it could help Avery become a better player.
